Dear Rev. Fathers, Sisters and Brothers,

Greetings of peace and joy to all of you!

1.      Year of Priests: Workshop on Pastoral Management

The two-day workshop held on Aug. 12-13, with the intention of sensitizing the pastoral clergy to effective pastoral management was a good success. The participants found it useful and inspiring. We thank the team of excellent resource persons led by the Chartered Accountant, Mr. Mark D’Souza from Bangalore. Also, we thank especially our pastors who participated actively and benefited from it. However, we missed a few who could not make it.

As per the request, on Sunday 23rd August special prayers at Holy Mass, Holy Hours and Adoration may be organized in our churches and chapels “for peace and harmony and for a spirit of reconciliation”. ¬†All are urged to “forgive and forget the past and build a strong and integrated civil society which is not ravaged by the evil designs...”

Also, we urge all the Priests, Religious and Lay faithful to participate in large numbers in the novena, retreat and the solemn celebration of the Feast of the Nativity at the Arogya Mathe Shrine, Bellary, as far as possible.
