Charismatic Lenten Retreat Held At Jagir Pannur

BELLARY, MARCH 24: A 2-day charismatic retreat was held at Jagir Pannur in Raichur district, March 22 – 23, preached by Fr. Franklin D’Souza, Regional Youth Director of Karnataka, Bro. T.K. George, Davanagere, and Bro. William.

Retreat began on 22nd March at 10 AM. Fr. Maxim the parish priest welcomed the team. Praise and worship was conducted by Bro. William. Bro. T.K. George spoke on need to praise God and accepting God’s love in our lives.

After the lunch break, Fr. Franklin preached on four truths of the Bible: 1. God created a world which was good; 2. Sin destroyed everything; 3. Jesus fixed everything; 4. We too can receive healing today from Jesus.

Bro T. K. George gave his testimony of conversion. At 6.30 PM Fr. Franklin offered Mass together with Fr Eric SJ, Fr. Prem, and Fr. Maxim.

He preached on “make JESUS as your owner of life”.

After the Mass he prayed for the sick people.

At 9 PM there was screening of a fil on the life of Jesus.

On 23rd retreat began at 9 AM. Bro. William conducted the Praise and Worship.

Fr Franklin spoke on Sacrament of reconciliation and its importance.

Bro. T.K. George spoke on Confession brings healing.

Confessions were arranged at 2 PM. There were 8 priests to help the penitents.

At 3 PM Fr Franklin offered the Mass and thanked God.

End of the Mass anointing session was conducted and all the priests laid their hands over the participants and prayed.

Fr. Maxim thanked the team for preaching a good retreat in his parish. There were 600 participants.
