Thousands of Devotees Participated In the Bellary Arogya Mathe Jathra Mahothsava

BELLARY, SEPT. 08, 2014: The 14th Bellary Arogya Mathe Jathra Mahothsava  which was held from Aug.30th was solemnly concluded on September 8th in Bellary with concelebrated Eucharist ,a Car procession, Eucharistic Adoration  and Cultural program today at Bellary.

¬†In his message the Vicar General, Fr. Paulraj P.R ¬†urged the large gathering of devotees “We become great ¬†when ¬†believe in ¬†the Word of God” He further stated that this belief is to be ¬†nurtured in the ¬†families ¬†to grow in it and to share it with others ”.

The Vicar General conveyed Bishop Henry D’Souza, Bishop of Bellary‘s feast day greetings on that occasion.

The participation of the people with devotion and discipline was very laudable.

Generous Donors came forward irrespective of caste or creed¬† ¬†to provide “prasada” (fellowship meals) to all the devotees on all the days.

The celebrations concluded with a colourful cultural presentation by the local Catholic schools’ children on the theme “ Namma Amma”.

During the Bellary Arogya Mathe car procession the services offered by the ICYM youth of Bellary unit is much appreciable.

 The Rector of the Shrine Rev. Fr. Gnanapragasam T congratulated the dedicated  services of all  volunteers on all the ten days.
