“Win the Youth for Christ”- Youth Meeting at Manvi
To bring back the youth towards the Mercy of God during this year of Mercy, one-day seminar was organized at Manvi (Diocese of Ballari) by Fr. Paul Moras, the Parish Priest. Over seventy boys and girls attended the programme.

Fr. John Peter, DYD, highlighted the main areas of concern affecting the youth today. He spoke at length on the “effect of Media today on the youth” and led them for a deeper level of understanding through group discussion. The youth were asked to discuss about the positive and negative influences of Media today and how they can come out of this addiction. He also highlighted how our youth are carried away by this influence and how much they are addicted to Face book, tweeter and other social networking.

Later, Fr. Joe Francis stressed the need of finding and walking on the way of truth which helps the youth to find a real happiness in life. It was followed by a talk on “the Challenges the youth face today” by Deacon Royappa.

The day was concluded by the Eucharistic celebration by Fr. John Peter and the day was concluded with a high tea.
