03 July: St. Antony’s Cathedral Ballari
The cross was received at St. Joseph’s Boys School and blessed by Fr. Bagavant. The cross was taken in procession led by Fr. Pal Raj V.G. Large number of people and youth participated in the procession and followed by the concelebrated Eucharistic Celebration. Fr. John Peter during his homily emphasised that the youth need to learn from the cross the values of sacrifice, love, peace and forgiveness. The youth, to mark this occasion planted saplings in their neighbourhood.
