09 July: Raichur
The youth of Manvi parish handed over the Cross to the youth of Raichur Parish. Fr. Leo Micheal, the parish priest blessed the Cross and it was taken to the Church in procession. Followed by the Eucharistic celebration presided by Rev. Fr. Jayaraj Putti, the dean of Raichur deanery. During the homily, Fr. John Peter, briefed the people about the history of this National Youth Convention Cross. Besides, he also encouraged the youth to follow the values of the Gospel and radiate the light of Christ through their dedicated service to the community and the society in which they live.

After completing 15 days of journey through different parishes of the diocese of Ballari, the National Youth Convention Cross was handed over to the diocese of Gulbarga by the youth of Raichur. Thanks to all the parish priests and the youth who made it a success.
