Ecumenical Christmas Get-together Held at Bellary:
DEC.16,2018.

Around 74 Pastors and Priests gathered at Dheeksha Bhavan, Bishop's House Campus Bellary on Dec 16 for an Ecumenical Christmas gathering. Bishop Henry D'Souza, Bishop of Bellary the President of Ecumenical United Christian Forum for Human Rights for the Northern Karnataka Region, presided over the function. Rev.John Mark, AG Church, Bellary and Rev. Prabhakar Rao, Independent Church, Bellary are the Secretary and Treasurer of the UCF Bellary unit. The program begun with a brief self introduction of each pastor/priest. Bishop said that he salutes the pioneers who brought Good News to this virgin soil some 200 years ago. The faith in Christ contributed to the drastic growth of this region, may it be educational, health care and other social upliftment program.

Bishop urged all those present to journey together to promote justice and peace in our present situation as an expression of our faith in the Triune God. All the pastors and priests jointly committed themselves to promote justice and peace and fight for our rights. The program was jointly sponsored by Catholic Association Bellary and UCF Bellary. Rev. John Mark thanked Fr.Maxim Dias PRO, UCF & Mr. Raju Balraj, President CAB and Mr. Suby Mathew, treasurer CAB for successfully organizing the event. The program ended with a Fellowship dinner.
