Sindhanur Deanery Organized Lenten Retreat
SINDHANUR, MAR 21:

Over 1500 people from Sindhanur deanery parishes participated in the retreat held at Holy Family Church preises, Mar. 19-21.

The retreat was animated by Bro. Peter and his team.

The retreat was concluded with the Holy Eucharist presided by Bishop Henry, Bishop of Bellary. During the homily Bishop urged the faithful to “make their life founded on the word of God, nourished by the Sacrament and lived in service of others.”

Bishop insisted on the importance of the daily family pryer and reading of the Holy Bible. He encouraged people to memorise daily a verse from the Holy Bible and derive inspiration from it.

The presence of many local and political leaders at the event was very encouraging.

Bishop appreciated all the organizers, particularly Fr. Anil Kumar, the Dean of Sindhanur, Frs. Mariswamy N. and Chandrakanth and Religious Sisters of the deanery.
