Bellary major seminarians attend mission experience joyfully
BELLARY, 30 April 2023

All the major seminarians of the Bellary diocese had a mission experience during the summer holidays, 10-30 April 2023.

They were sent out to different mission stations of the diocese like Maski – Anthargangi, Nanjaldinni, Hanchinal, Uskiyal, Kotnekal, Medikinal, Kottur- Ayynahalli and K.M. Halli It was aimed at to have a live in experience with a people in order to kindle the spark of proclaiming the Good News.

The seminarians organised programs for the children, youth and lay people of the place. They planned and organized the programs with the local parish priests/ mission directors.

Fr. Alphonse George, Rector, Minor Seminary was the animator behind the entire program and he thanked all the parish priests, namely Frs. Charles Sunder Raj, Xavier Ravi, Pavan Kumar and Albert D’Silva

At the end of the summer camp they had two days of orientation session at Deeksha Bhavan, 29-30 April. Rev. Frs. Vincent O., John Peter, PV .Antony, Jose Prakash and Bishop Henry D’Souza were the resource persons.

The Camp and the sessions helped the seminarians to foster better interaction among themselves and gaining some pastoral skills.
