Risen Christ Chapel at Deena Samudra Blessed and Inaugurated:

Bellary: Sindhanur 02 MAR 25

The newly built Risen Christ chapel at Deena Samudra , Harapur Parish was blessed and inaugurated on Mar. 2., 2025 by Bishop Henry D’Souza, Bishop of Bellary in the presence of a large gathering of parishioners. The old mud chapel was constructed by the Franciscan Fathers in 1954. Due to age and weather conditions, it was necessitated to construct a new chapel. The hard work of Fr. Sudheer Kumar, former Parish priests Frs. Devane Sam, Anil Kumar along with the parishioners and well-wishers was very much appreciated. We especially remember and thank the Christian Development Council of Karnataka and other donors who made it possible for its successful completion. May the Risen lord bless them abundantly.
