Jubilee Meet for priests and religious from Bellary Diocese organized.

A daylong Platinum Jubilee get-together was organized on 26 th November, 2024 for all those Priests, Religious nuns and Brothers from Bellary Diocese.110 attended the enriching daylong program held at St. Antony’s Pastoral Center, Cantonment, Bellary. It is very encouraging to know that presently there are 150 local vocations to priesthood and Religious lives from diocese of Bellary

During the concelebrated Holy Eucharist presided by Bishop Henry D’Souza, Bishop of Bellary “In this year of Platinum Jubilee of the Diocese of Bellary and the Ordinary Jubilee of the Universal Church, we are called to grow, to share and to Witness. It’s also a God-given privileged moment to thank God, to renew faith-life and to rededicate ourselves to the mission of Jesus Christ” said the Bishop.

“It was a truly enriching fellowship meet to interact and exchange with our counter parts to strengthen our vocation. And we hope to participate many more such events” were the words of many participants of the gathering. Fr. Arogyanathan , the Convener and his team organized the whole event. Bishop Henry D’Souza, Bishop of Bellary congratulated the Organizing Committee and all the collaborators for a job well done.

Diocesan Platinum Jubilee with the poor: Bellary: 24Nov, 2024.

The platinum Jubilee Committee organized Jubilee celebrations with the poor on November, 24, 2024. About 200 destitute, physically and mentally challenged, persons with leprosy, HIC/AIDS etc. participated in the event held at Mother Teresa destitute Home, Cantonment, Near VIMS Hospital, Bellary.
The celebration concluded with a fellowship meal.
