KATHARGI, KAPPAGAL CHAPELS OF MANVI PARISH BLESSED
RAICHUR, MANVI, APRIL 15,2024:

Kathargi, St. Antony’s chapeland Arogya Mathe Chapelof Manvi parish wereblessed and inauguratedon April 15 by bishop Henry D’ Souza in the presence of a large gathering of villagers and parishioners. This was an occasion to witness Christ and his message. Both Kathargi and Kappagal chapels were constructed in the year 1985 by then Parish Priest of Manvi, late Fr. Alphonse M.A. Parts of the land on which the chapels stand were donated by the local villagers for the construction of place of worship.

The hard work of Fr. Gnanapragasam T, deacon Kennedy Fernandez along with the parishioners and well-wishers was very much appreciated. We especially remember and thank the Christian Development Council of Karnataka and other donors who made it possible for its success. May the Risen lord bless them abundantly.
