Orientation Program Held for Children

A day long Orientation program was held for all the children of Bellary denary at Dheeksha Bhavan , Bishop’s House, Cantonment , Bellary on Sunday the 8 th December, 2024.

Around 130 children aged between 12-16 years, from all the Parishes of Bellary area and Children’s Home participated enthusiastically. Miss Perina, District Manager, Karnataka Minority Development Corporation, Koppal District was the resource person of the day.

She highlighted the available career opportunities, particularly in the Administrative sectors of Government and others fields also her own personal struggle and success story, thus encouraged the participants to achieve it through faith in God and oneself, hard work and mentorship.

Bishop Henry, Bishop of Bellary exhorted the Children and their Animators “ To dream big, focus it in order to be achievers. Thus serve the society in leadership positions”

At the occasion several children shared their dreams and aspirations.

The orientation program was organized by Rev.Fr. Ivan Pinto, Diocesan Director

for PMO and his team.
