A brief history of the parish :
The new Sirigeri Mission was established on 2013. Earlier, Frs. Augustine P.R., Pushparaj P., Swamy Dayanand, Thomas D'Souza and Fr. Rajappan were visiting the place inorder to caterto the spiritual needs of the faithful. Later, in the year 2010, the diocese bought about 4 acres of land for the purpose of pastoral activities. The present chapel and presbytery were built in 2013 and blessed by Bishop Henry D'Souza on 20 June 2013. Fr. Devaputra was appointed first parish priest of this new mission. In the year 2015 Mother Teresa English Medium Nursary School was started keeping in mind to give value based education to the children of this area. New school building supported by Manos Unidas is under construction at Sirigeri.
