Orientation and Vocation camp organized by the Diocese Platinum Jubilee Committee in the diocese
SHAKTINAGAR,RAICHUR Apr 21, 2024:

Large number of students from different parishes of the diocese of Bellary who completed SSLC, PUC participated in the orientation and vocation camp organized by Diocesan Platinum Jubilee Committee and Vocation and Formation Commission of the Diocese

The orientation camps were held in different dates and different parts of the diocese to facilitate more participation .

Hospet and Koppal deanery 24 youngsters both boys and girls who have completed their SSLC and PUC participated in the whole day’s program held on 21 st April, 2024 at St.Joseph’s Church , TB Dam.37 students participated from Bellary deanery on 28 th in St. Philomena’s Composite Junior College premises, Cantonment Bellary and Sindhanur & Manvi deanery 42 students participated the camp on 30 th April held in St. Francis Assisi Church, Jawelgera. The youngsters participated joyously and it was very encouraging.

Rev.Frs Arogyanathan , Alphonse George, Praveen SDB, William SDB, Sr. Shati Chakko GS , CRI President and various Religious congregation in and outside of the diocese were the resource persons. The deanery priests, local Parish priests , Religious congregations and lay leaders facilitated the program.

Bishop while addressing the participants, said, when God called young Samuel, Priest Eli was instrumental to recognize the Call of God. Likewise, our parents, teachers, priests, religious , others and sometimes through different circumstances God helps us to find out his voice.

We appreciate the local organizers, Fr. Alphonse George , Secretary, Diocesan Vocation and Formation Commission and diocesan Jubilee committee particularly Frs. Arogynathan and Alphonse George and their coordinating team members.
